Letters Home is an anthology of songs written and recorded by Gronk on a four-track cassette machine, in the years before acquiring an iMac courtesy of his brother. The collection showcases Gronk's early sound, which is more laid-back and introspective than his recent output; his production skills make the material sound surprisingly polished given the primitive nature of the recordings. Charming and intimate, this is an album for drowsy summer evenings.
