First Body Doubles EP imminent, two more players join the fold

Plenty happening behind the scenes at the moment.

First up, I've been in the studio with Andrew Robertson finishing off the first EP from Gronk & The Body Doubles - the band proper - and you can hear the first overripe fruit of the sessions by selecting "The Marble Arch - band version" from the player on my MySpace page. The Heavy Weather EP will feature this song plus three other brand new recordings, and should be ready for release by mid-July.

In other news, we are finalising a gig date at the Fox & Duck in Richmond on July 16th - probably - featuring a lineup bolstered by the addition of saxophone and accordion, one of which may well be riding a unicycle. Can't say any more at this stage, but it should be a cracker; full details of the show and forthcoming Body Doubles release will be posted to this site as soon as they're confirmed.
